The Nintendo Wii console was in big demand and short supply for Christmas 2007 - and hopefully those shortages will not happen for Christmas 2008. You could beat any possible Christmas rush and price increases by buying your Wii console now.

You could make a trip to your local  Smyths Toys I suppose (who don’t do online shopping) and pay €269.99 for a Nintendo Wii console.  (Price correct on Nov 25th 2008) .

Pixmania is part of the same group of companies as PC World , Dixons and Currys - so they are a large reputable and reliable company. They sell loads of cameras, electronic goods, computers etc. You could get all your Christmas shopping in one go!

You could try Viking if Pixmania have sold out - they will proabably be more expensive (Vat is added at checkout) . Viking also sell the Wii Fit and Balance Board fitness game.

HMV has no dedicated Hmv.ie site for it’s Irish customers - but that is not a problem because online shoppers in Ireland can use the main HMV.com site.

HMV sell a wide range of Cds, DVDs, TShirts , Video Games . Delivery to Ireland is £2.50 GBP - about €3.12 Euro per item.  Amazon no longer deliver  video games to Ireland - so the HMV website is a brilliant alternative and great for those of us living outside of Dublin, Cork, Limerick or Galway.
